Tamara Donnellan is an accomplished performer whose talents as an actor, dancer and singer have rewarded her with a wonderfully versatile and ever evolving career.
A film highlight has been working with director Alex Proyas on Knowing, and playing a pivotal role in Darclight Films hit feature Lake Mungo. On television in Australia she has performed guest roles in Stingers, Blue Heelers and Neighbours as well as a variety of roles in numerous short films including the Tropfest finalist Last Stop.
On stage she was part of the original ensemble of He Died with a Falafel in his Hand which had an extremely successful two-year run in Melbourne, Australia. Upon its closing the ensemble went on to win the ‘Best New Comedy Performance’ in the sequel ‘Tasmanian Babes Fiasco at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She has also performed at La Mama courthouse in the Daniel Lillford play Slow Trains an’ Dirty Towns and in Leonard Melfi’s Birdbath at Chapel off Chapel. As a dancer she has toured internationally with the Walt Disney Special Events Group and closer to home with the Melbourne City Ballet.
