Joshua Tuggle began pursuing his acting career during high school. While attending Dawn Well’s  Film Actor’s Boot Camp, he wrote and performed a sketch comedy called It was well received and caught the attention of Francene Selkirk-Ackerman from Shooting from the Hip Casting Agency. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has appeared on Comedy Central with D.L. Hughley and David Allen Grier.  He has had opportunities for national television commercials such as Pizza Hut, HBO, Old Spice High Endurance, and appeared in the music video for U2 and Green Day’s “The Saints Are Coming.” He is an alumnus of Improv Olympic West and has worked the stand-up circuit at places such as The Comedy Store. He has studied acting at Playhouse West under Tony Savant and Sean Barnes.  Josh continues to hone his craft at Art of Acting studio with Ron Burrus Studio and Westend Acting Studio with Candy Kaniecki’s Studio. He has a B.A. in Screenwriting from California State University at Northridge and is currently pursuing his M.F.A. in Screenwriting at National University with (former head of the story department for HBO Films) screenwriter Bettina Moss.
